The annual gala is being held at 3 West Club, located at 3 West 51st Street. Hosts for the evening include Charles Busch and Robert Osborne, along with fellow co-chairs Ethan Litwin and Richard Weinberg. Busch and Tom Judson will perform.

The GTG Golden Shamrock Award is given annually for "artistic contribution to society." Past honorees include Terrence McNally, Judith Ivey, Brian Murray, Robert Osborne, Anita Jaffe and Charles Busch.

“All of us at GTG are thrilled at the opportunity to honor these two superb New Yorkers who have given their lives to making our planet a far better place,” said GTG artistic director Staller in an earlier statement. “Both honorees have made invaluable contributions to us all with their artistry and open-hearted humanity. They’re also great fun at parties.”

A traditional Irish/American dinner will be served of corned beef and cabbage, stews, pies, puddings, ales and toasts. Musicians will also be on hand.
