The Concrete Jungle, according to press notes, "is a contemporary take on the Cyrano de Bergerac story, with a female twist. Set within the hustle and bustle of New York City, the romantic comedy follows Abby, a nearing-thrity poet who is the head bartender at The Concrete Jungle Bar & Grill on the Upper West Side, where her friends (and foe, Vanessa) hang out, searching for love. When Abby receives a random phone call, her life is changed forever as hilarity and mistaken identity infiltrate The Concrete Jungle. Can Abby find the strength to tell her romantic interest the truth or will she continue sleeping sideways in her lonely bed, letting her soul mate say 'I love you' to the wrong woman?" Cronin's other works include Welcome to My Life (W2ML) (with co-book writer Alicia Dempster) and 'Til Death Do Us Part. Skillman is the author of Cut, Vigil or the Guided Cradle and Birthday & Nobody, among others.

The Cutting Room is located at 44 East 32nd Street. For more information, call (212) 691-1900 or visit TheCuttingRoomNYC.com. For reservations, click here.
