Details about Walsh's appearance have yet to be announced, but it is likely that her character will help Callie (played by Tony Award winner Sara Ramirez) with her pregnancy.
Walsh recently appeared in the Atlantic Theater Company's production of Dusk Rings a Bell. She appeared in the Chicago productions of Troilus and Cressida, Flesh and Blood and Born Guilty, and was a member of the improv comedy troupe Burn Manhattan and The New York City Players theatre ensemble in New York.
