Kaye, who re-created her performance as Florence Foster Jenkins in ATC's 2007 production of Souvenir, will offer a concert as part of the benefit evening at the Phoenix Convention Center. The 5 PM event begins with a cocktail reception, followed by Kaye's performance. ATC will also honor the Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust with the "Standing Ovation" award. Dinner and dancing will follow.
Kaye earned a Tony Award for her performance as Carlotta in the original New York production of The Phantom of the Opera. She received Tony nominations for her work in Souvenir, Mamma Mia! and On the Twentieth Century.
