News Keith Nobbs, Jim Norton and Amy Ryan to Star in Atlantic's Dublin Carol Dublin Carol, the play by Irish writer Conor McPherson, will star Keith Nobbs, Jim Norton and Amy Ryan in its New York debut at the Atlantic Theater Company. Performances begin Feb. 4. Opening is Feb. 20.

Nobbs was recently seen at Manhattan Theatre Club in Christopher Shinn's Four. He got his first break in WPA's Stupid Kids. Ryan starred in the Broadway productions of The Women and Uncle Vanya, winning a Tony nomination for the latter. Jim Norton is a McPherson veteran, having starred in Broadway's The Weir.

McPherson himself will direct. Broadway producer David Richenthal hold the rights to any commercial transfer.

The play is a three-character drama about an aging funeral director, his young protégé and his estranged daughter, and has been previously staged at London's Royal Court.

Other McPherson plays to reach New York are St. Nicholas and This Lime Tree Bower, both at Primary Stages; The Good Thief, presented by the Keen Company; and The Weir, on Broadway.

So far this season, the Atlantic has presented George S. Kaufman's Butter and Egg Man and Joe Penhall's Blue/Orange.
