The benefit for Off-Broadway's CSC at its East 13th Street space, is a special event in the 35th season of the company devoted to reimagining plays and literary works it deems "classic."

O'Hara (Sweet Smell of Success and the upcoming My Life with Albertine) will sing Torke songs written specifically for her. Torke's credits include a millennium symphony commission from Michael Eisner and the Walt Disney Company; the "Central Park trilogy," written with A.R. Gurney and commissioned by Great Performances and New York City Opera: "Javelin," an Olympics committee commission that went on to be featured on the album "Summon the Heroes," which reached No. 1 on Billboard's Classical Crossover chart.

Tickets are $25 for members, $30 for non-members and $15 for students. Classic Stage Company is at 136 E. 13th Street, between Third and Fourth Avenues. For reservations or more information, call (212) 677-4210 ext. 2.
