O'Hara, who took a hiatus from South Pacific last March to welcome the birth of her first child, will step back into the spotlight with a collection of songs from the Great American Songbook Sept. 15-26 at the Carlyle. The acclaimed actress played a previous Carlyle engagement in April 2009.

Songs included in O'Hara's spring engagement were "What More Do I Need?," "I'm in Love with a Wonderful Guy," "Take Me to the World," "That's How I Say Goodbye," "The Boy Next Door," "The Light in the Piazza," "Hey There," "Fable," "The Sun Went Out," "Here Now," "And So It Goes," "I Love You The World," "Opera-Country," "Make Someone Happy" and "I Could Have Danced All Night."

The actress will be accompanied on piano by musical director Dan Lipton as well as by bass, drums and violin.

Representatives for the Lincoln Center Theater production of South Pacific confirmed that O'Hara will return to the revival at the Vivian Beaumont Theater Oct. 13. The role of Ensign Nellie Forbush is currently played by Laura Osnes (Grease).

On Broadway she has appeared in Jekyll & Hyde, Follies, Sweet Smell of Success and Dracula, the Musical. Her album, "Wonder in the World," is currently available on the Ghostlight Records label.
