News Kelsey Grammer Cast as King Herod in "Killing Jesus" Adaptation; Imelda Staunton Joins "Paddington" Tony Award nominee Kelsey Grammer will play King Herod in National Geographic Channel's adaptation of "Killing Jesus," the 2013 book by Fox News Channel's Bill O'Reilly and Martin Dugard, according to Deadline.com.

Also in the cast are Stephen Moyer (The Sound of Music Live!) as Pontius Pilate and Haaz Sleiman as Jesus.

Based on the book by O'Reilly and Dugard, the film chronicles the life of Jesus at a time of "intense political and social and conflict in the Roman Empire that ultimately led to his death."

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Imelda Staunton and Michael Gambon have joined the voice cast of the upcoming CGI/live-action adaptation of "Paddington," directed by Paul King.

Based on Michael Bond's children's story, the cast includes Gambon as Paddington's Uncle Pastuzo, Staunton as Aunt Lucy and Ben Whishaw as Paddington with Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Julie Walters, Peter Capaldi, Jim Broadbent and Nicole Kidman.

"Paddington" is being produced by Heyday Film and Studio Canal. It is scheduled to premiere in London Nov. 23 before being released in the U.S. on Christmas Day.
