The improvisational hip-hop show from Thomas Kail, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Anthony Veneziale will make its first D.C. appearance.
Direct from its recent sold-out Off-Broadway run, Freestyle Love Supreme will head to the nation's capital this summer where it will make its D.C. premiere at The Kennedy Center. The musical improv show will run for nine performances, July 16–21, as part of the comedy season.
Freestyle Love Supreme is conceived by Anthony Veneziale and co-created by Hamilton’s Thomas Kail (director, co-producer) and Lin-Manuel Miranda (co-producer). Each night, performers take cues from the audience and spin them into comedy, instantaneous songs and riffs, and musical numbers.
