News Kennedy Center Will Put Mel Brooks Back in the Saddle Again Washington, D.C.'s Kennedy Center will present a screening of Mel Brooks' celebrated comedy "Blazing Saddles," followed by a Q & A with the multi-talented star, live on stage. The Kennedy Center Honoree will share behind-the-scenes stories from his life and career.

Back in the Saddle Again will take place Feb. 6, 2016, in the Concert Hall and is part of the Comedy at the Kennedy Center series. The slate also features the Center’s first District of Comedy Festival from June 22-25 featuring Jane Lynch; a new collaboration with The Second City; as well as performances by Tracy Morgan, Maz Jobrani and Miranda Sings.

Director, producer, writer and actor Brooks is the recipient of an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and two Tony Awards. His Broadway hit The Producers, which ran for six years, holds the record for the most Tony Awards ever won by a production.

Tickets to see the film and participate in the audience-led conversation start at $65 and will be available to the general public beginning Dec. 18. They can be purchased by visiting Kennedy-Center.org or calling (202) 467-4600.
