Sutherland will play a hitman engaging in a theological discussion with a priest (Hurt) about why his victims deserved death.
The series, which was filmed in New York in December, will consist of 10 five-to-seven-minute webisodes.
An Emmy Award winner for his work as actor and producer of the Fox series "24," Sutherland will make his Broadway debut later this season in a revival of The Championship Season. Hurt is an Academy Award nominee for "The Elephant Man" and "Midnight Express."
Directed and choreographed by Justin Peck, the show previously played an Off-Broadway premiere at Park Avenue Armory.
