Actor, singer, and comedian Klea Blackhurst returns to the cabaret venue Chelsea Table + Stage April 14 for the first of five concerts throughout the spring and early summer, in a series entitled The Box Set. Presented on Sunday nights at 7 PM, the series revisits Blackhurst's performances throughout her career.

The series launches April 14 with Autumn in New York – Vernon Duke's Broadway. Blackhurst's tribute to the composer, known for standards including "April in Paris" and the titular "Autumn in New York," features arrangements by music director Michael Rice

On May 5, Blackhurst will present One of the Girls: The Words and Music of Jerry Herman. Blackhurst worked with the Hello, Dolly! composer on the musical's 50th anniversary production at Goodspeed Opera House, and went on to perform his songs with symphony orchestras across the country. The concert will focus on the women in Herman's life, featuring songs like "It's Today," "Open a New Window," "Before the Parade Passes By," and more.

Singer and pianist Billy Stritch will join Blackhurst September 15 for Dreaming of a Song: The Music of Hoagy Carmichael. The pair will perform lesser-known gems from the Carmichael catalog, as well as beloved songs such as “Skylark,” “Georgia on My Mind,” and “Stardust.”

On October 20, Blackhurst will present An Evening with Klea Blackhurst. The concert will feature a variety of American popular songs, musical comedy, and even the pocket trumpet.

The Box Set will close November 10 with Everything the Traffic Will Allow – The Songs and Sass of Ethel Merman. Blackhurst debuted her tribute to Merman in 2001, which includes a lineup of songs written for the Broadway legend from composers like Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, and more.
