Part of The New York International Fringe Festival – FringeNYC, performances began Aug. 10 and will continue through Aug. 23. Playwright Sanderson also directs.

KNB – the Musical, according to press notes, "is a romantic musical comedy set in the current war among the members of a US Navy Reserve Boat Unit. The unit ponders deployment while a Boatswains Mate wonders what makes life truly miserable."
KNB stands for Kuwait Naval Base, where Sanderson was stationed this past year.
Produced by Sanderson, in Association with Gorilla Rep, the creative team also includes music director and arranger Allison Tartalia, choreographer Erin Porvaznika and stage manager Alexis Qualls. Remaining show times are Aug. 14 at 3 PM, Aug. 17 at 1:45 PM, Aug. 21 at 7:30 PM and Aug. 23 at 9:45 PM.
