News Koch Records to Release Dracula and New Jekyll Recordings Koch Records, which recently formed a multi-record deal with composer Frank Wildhorn and Jeremy Roberts’ GlobalVision Records, will release several Wildhorn projects in 2006.

Dracula, The Musical — The Concept Recording, which does not feature members of the show’s Broadway company, and Jekyll & Hyde: The Concert are both planned for release in early 2006.

The Dracula recording will boast the vocals of James Barbour, Christiane Noll, Lauren Kennedy, Kate Shindle, Euan Morton, Rob Evan, Norm Lewis, Tracy Miller, Lynette Marrero and Margaret Ann Gates. The song list includes “Prologue/Over Whitby Bay,” “Fresh Blood,” “The Mist,” “A Perfect Life,” “The Master’s Song,” “Loving You Keeps Me Alive,” “Life After Life,” “Mina’s Cry,” “Please Don’t Make Me Love You,” “Before the Summer Ends,” “The Heart Is Slow to Learn,” “Deep in the Darkest Night,” “The Longer I Live,” “At Last” and “Finale.” Dracula features music by Wildhorn and lyrics by Christopher Hampton and Don Black.

The Jekyll & Hyde recording will be based on the new Jekyll & Hyde in Concert tour. Jekyll features music by Wildhorn and lyrics by Leslie Bricusse.

The official GlobalVision website also reports that the company is currently in pre-production for Cyrano de Bergerac, a new Wildhorn musical featuring lyrics by Bricusse. That musical is scheduled to premiere in London in 2006.
