News   Krich, Garrison and Rives Set for boom at Seattle Rep
Casting and creative duties have been announced for Peter Sinn Nachtrieb's apocalyptic comedy boom, which begins performances at the Seattle Repertory Theatre Nov. 13.

Jerry Manning directs the dark comedy that officially opens Nov. 19 and plays a limited engagement through Dec. 14 in the Leo K. Theatre.

Inhabiting the intimate work are Gretchen Krich as Barbara, Nick Garrison as Jules and Chelsey Rives as Jo.

Press notes for boom state, "A marine biologist calculates that the end of the world is near and posts an online personals ad, hoping to find a girl that will help him ensure the survival of the species. But when push comes to shove, saving life on earth on the first date proves to be a bit of a challenge."

The Seattle Rep design team includes set designer Jennifer Zeyl, costume designer Harmony Arnold, lighting designer Robert Aguilar and sound designer/composer Eric Chappelle.
