Kristin Chenoweth Broadway Boot Camp at Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma (the Tony winner's home town) will return for in-person training this summer. The Wicked star will join with a team of fellow Broadway professionals to collaborate with students at the camp, set for July 17-30.

Interested students currently in grades 8-12 can submit video auditions starting March 4, with submissions due by 5 PM CT March 25. Auditioners should prepare a one-minute musical theatre piece and a one-minute dramatic monologue for the audition, along with submitting a résumé and headshot. Slots are limited, and tuition is $600.

“I’m so excited to announce that this year we will be back in person at Kristin Chenoweth Broadway Boot Camp,” said Chenoweth in a statement. “My most important mission in this life is to inspire—always inspire. And I can promise you that is what we are going to do once again at camp. We are going to inspire ourselves, inspire each other, and inspire others to be better.”

Students will be able to participate in hands-on activities during the camp, including acting, dance, staging, singing, and team building. The camp ends with a cumulative student and faculty performance called the Kristi Awards.

"Ms. Chenoweth has a heart for arts in education, as cemented with the formation of the Kristin Chenoweth Arts & Education Fund,” adds Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center Director Kim Vento. “For this camp, being back in person means everything as we create a unique opportunity for many high school students to further their creative arts aspirations with these amazing industry professionals.”

A camp director will be announced in the coming weeks.
