Chenoweth first appeared at the Bowl for the July 4 Fireworks Spectacular performances in 2001. She graced the stage again in 2007 to present to and perform with that year's Hall of Fame inductee Plácido Domingo. And, last year, Chenoweth offered her first solo concert at the Bowl.

This year marks the 15th anniversary of the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame. Chenoweth is the 43rd inductee, joining Nathan Lane, Patti LuPone, Bernadette Peters, John Williams, Garth Brooks, Stevie Wonder, Bonnie Raitt, Henry Mancini, Frank Sinatra, Plácido Domingo, Liza Minnelli, B.B. King, Josh Groban, Steven Tyler, Joe Perry and John Legend, among others.

"Drawn from the diverse arena of musical entertainment, including classical, pop, jazz, musical theater, and film composition, new Hall of Fame honorees receive their tributes as part of the Bowl’s annual opening night celebration," according to press notes. Proceeds from the evening benefit the LA Phil and its education programs, which reach more than 120,000 children, teachers and adults every year.

Following Chenoweth’s induction, the singing actress will perform with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, led by Thomas Wilkins.

Other inductees for the evening include The Go-Go's and Pink Martini. Presenters are Taraji P. Henson, Helen Hunt, Carol Burnett, Natasha Bedingfield and Barbara Eden. Lea Michele is the special guest.

The Hollywood Bowl is located at 2301 N. Highland Avenue in Hollywood. For ticket information visit HollywoodBowl.com.
