News Kristin Chenoweth, Lea Salonga, Kander and Ebb Evening and More Part of American Songbook 2013 Slate Lincoln Center has announced the lineup for the 2013 American Songbook series at the Allen Room and in the Kaplan Penthouse. Among the stars to appear will be Kristin Chenoweth, Lea Salonga, Cristin Milioti and Lindsay Mendez. An evening celebrating the music of Kander and Ebb will also be offered.

The Allen Room programming will open Jan. 30, 2013, with Miss Saigon Tony winner Lea Salonga; followed by Karen Akers, a Tony nominee for Nine, who will perform Feb. 1, 2013. 

Rob Fisher will celebrate the work of Tony-winning Chicago and Cabaret songwriting team John Kander and Fred Ebb Feb. 6, 2013. The evening will feature Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley with special guests Chita Rivera and Joel Grey.

Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth (Wicked) will perform Feb. 15, 2013.

The music of Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning Next to Normal writers Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey will be showcased March 1, 2013. Michael Mayer will direct the concert that promises performances by  Alice Ripley, Brian d’Arcy James, Idina Menzel and Jennifer Damiano.

Penthouse programming includes Dogfight and Godspell actress Lindsay Mendez and Marco Paguia on March 29, 2013; with Once Tony nominee Cristin Milioti appearing April 5, 2013; the music of Ricky Ian Gordon April 6, 2013; and the music of songwriters Kate Kerrigan and Brian Lowdermilk April 29, 2013, featuring Michael Arden, Nikki M. James, Carrie Manolakos and Josh Young.
