Kristin Chenoweth will appear at the "Fireworks Finale" at the Hollywood Bowl.

The Sept. 15 (at 8:30 PM) and 17 (at 7:30 PM) concerts mark the end of the Hollywood Bowl season and will also feature members of the Joffrey Ballet as well as appearances by Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy. John Mauceri will conduct the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. Concertgoers can expect to hear Chenoweth offer tunes from her repertoire, Kermit and Miss Piggy sing works from the American songbook, watch the Joffrey Ballet re-create Nijinsky's choreography to "Afternoon of a Faun" and enjoy world premieres by Richard Rodney Bennett, Danny Elfman and Tony Award winner Adam Guettel.

Kristin Chenoweth, who received a Tony nomination for her work as Glinda in Stephen Schwartz's Wicked, has been seen on the New York stage in The Fantasticks, Scapin, Steel Pier, A New Brain, Epic Proportions, Strike Up the Band, On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, The Apple Tree and Candide. The actress won her Tony Award for her performance as Sally Brown in the Broadway bow of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Chenoweth recently released her second solo recording, "As I Am" (Sony Classical), and her screen credits include "Kristin," "The West Wing," "The Music Man," "The Pink Panther," and "RV." Chenoweth's upcoming films include "Stranger Than Fiction" and "Running with Scissors."
