News Kristin Scott Thomas, Maggie Smith, Kevin Kline Set for Film Adaptation of Israel Horovitz's My Old Lady Kristin Scott Thomas, who was seen on Broadway in The Seagull, will join Tony winners Maggie Smith (Lettice and Lovage) and Kevin Kline (The Pirates of Penzance) in a film adaptation of the Israel Horovitz play My Old Lady, according to Deadline.com.

Playwright Horovitz (The Indian Wants the Bronx) will adapt and direct the upcoming film, which is based on his Off-Broadway play of the same name and will shoot in Paris this month.

My Old Lady, which follows Kline's character as he travels to Paris to sell a huge apartment his father left him, was seen at the Promenade Theatre in fall 2002. Also cast in the film is Dominique Pinon.

Distributed internationally by Protagonist Pictures, the film is produced by Rachael Horovitz and Gary Foster with Nitsa Benchetrit and David Barrot. Co-producing are David Atrakchi, Boris Mendza and Gael Cabouat with executive producers Charles Cohen and Daniel Battsek, and Joe Oppenheimer and Christine Langan.
