Richard Amelius will direct the musical about two friends and the paths their lives take over the course of 30 years. Time Between Us has music by Schrier, with book and lyrics by Barker and Schrier. The production will run Sept. 29-Oct. 12 at the McGinn/Cazale Theater.

The three-person cast includes Cates (Wicked, Jerry Springer: The Opera), Marino (Hairspray) and Rainey (Whistle Down the Wind, All Shook Up).

According to the authors, "Best friends Morgan and Matthew begin 'real life' with the dream of having it all. But is it really possible to build the perfect career and personal life? Across the span of thirty years, irresistible opportunities and heart-wrenching decisions bring each of the friends towards achieving half of their dream - and force them to leave the other half behind. A beautifully haunting portrait of best friends, passions, and time."

Time Between Us will have sound design by Shannon Slaton, lighting design by Aaron Spivey and projection design by Jesse Garrison. Angela F. Kiessel is the production stage manager.
