"It's summertime, so I'm bringing some California love over to the Pub," said songwriter Gasparini in a statement. "We are thrilled with the creative direction of this new show. It's the perfect hybrid of music theatre and my more commercial work."

Directed by Max Friedman, the concert will feature Rodriguez (First Date, The Addams Family), Gotay (Bring It On), Preston Sadleir (Next to Normal), Garth Kravits (The Drowsy Chaperone), Lauren Pritchard (Spring Awakening), Julia Mattison (Godspell), Andrew Kober (Hair), Alex Brightman (Big Fish), F. Michael Haynie (Wicked), Blake Daniel (Spring Awakening), Kacie Sheik (Hair), Eric Michael Krop (Godspell), composer-lyricist Alexander Sage Oyen, Ariella Serur, Keith White, Kasie Gasparini and Chloe Gasparini.

"I'm eager to approach Drew's material from a fresh perspective, especially with the addition of new voices and new material," added director Friedman.

The 9:30 PM concert promises "album hits, as well as tunes still hot off the presses" and music from Gasparini's musicals Circles, Make Me Bad (with Alex Brightman) and Crazy, Just Like Me.

Gasparini is also the author of #UntitledPopMusical, a project he is creating with Michael Kimmel. For more on Gasparini and his work, read Playbill.com's Contemporary Musical Theatre Songwriters You Should Know.
