Nine Armenians is the heartwarming story of three generations of an Armenian-American family. Although the interaction amongst family members is comical and loving, they are haunted with memories of the genocide of the Armenian people by the Turks during WWI.
Following a successful run from November 1996 to January of this year at New York’s Manhattan Theatre Club, Nine Armenians opens on the West Coast with a new cast, including Ayvazian herself in the role of Aunt Louise. The production will be directed by Mark Taper Forum’s artistic director, Gordon Davidson.
