LOS ANGELES -- Danny Hoch will bring his highly acclaimed production, Jails, Hospitals & Hip-Hop, to The Actors' Gang for twenty-four performances only, Nov. 11-Dec. 13, presented by the Mark Taper Forum and Hoch. The show is developed and directed by Jo Bonney.

The recent New York production of Jails won a Drama Desk nomination and a movie deal (the film version is set to shoot this year).

"Variety" said "Hoch's latest solo turn is fueled with thumping rhythms of hip-hop and an assemblage of fiercely funny characterizations." These characters range from a philosophizing heroin-addicted prison inmate with AIDS to a pimple-faced white teenager from Montana to a promiscuous rap star.
