LOS ANGELES -- Actors Alley's latest cabaret show, City Limits, will open April 24 at The Portal. Billed as "a fun-filled musical trip from city to city across the good old USA," the late-night revue is conceived, directed and choreographed by Bobbi Stamp, a veteran cabaret performer.
Songs by Cole Porter, Paul Clayton, Bobby Troup and Paul Simon, among others, are featured. The cast includes Martin Brother, Garrett House, Paula Kahlenberg, Nora Linden, Lynn Lowry, Karen Reed, Carl Strano and Stamm. Special lyrics and dialogue by J.C. Curtiss; the accompanist is Alan Altshuld.
Performances are Fri. & Sat. at 10.15 PM through June. Admission is free with donations gratefully accepted.
