LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles theatres are all aglow with Christmas lights. Four separate productions of Dickens' A Christmas Carol are running through the holiday season, plus 10 Christmas-related adult shows and a half dozen kids' shows. Among the assorted Christmas shows still running through the holiday period are Christmas Fantasy at the La Mirada Playhouse, O. Henry Christmas at the Cal Rep Theatre in Long Beach and La Posada Magica, a Latino-flavored play at the South Coast Rep.
The children's shows include a Spanish-language revue Too Many Tamales at the Bilingual Foundation of the Arts.
