News La Clique to Close at London's Hippodrome; Performances Will Resume at the Roundhouse La Clique, the burlesque entertainment that won this year's Laurence Olivier Award for Best Entertainment, will end its season at the Hippodrome June 27, after a nine-month run during which time it has grossed over £2.5 million and been seen by over 100,000 people.

The production is closing owing to the venue's planned conversion into a casino; however, the producers — La Clqieu Productions, Mark Rubinstein and Mick Perrin for Just for Laughs Live — have announced that it will resume at Camden's Roundhouse, beginning performances Nov. 19 prior to an official opening Nov. 25, for a nine-week season through Jan. 17, 2010. In a press statement, the producers said, "The show promises to bring everything that is great about La Clique at the Hippodrome back, with more tinsel, more glitter, and more glamour. Bigger, better with a previously unseen line-up which will include some of London's favourites along with the crème de la crème of twisted cabaret entertainers from around the world, La Clique at Christmas will be the very best alternative show that London has to offer."

Full details of the line-up are to be announced. To book tickets for both the remaining performances at the Hippodrome and the resumed run at the Roundhouse, contact the box office at 020 7907 7097. For more details visit www.lacliquelondon.com.
