LOS ANGELES -- Dirty Laundry, a new comedy by Jorge Albertella, will have its world premiere Jan. 9, 1999 at L.A. Jewish Theatre's Actors' Playhouse. Johanna Siegmann directs a cast that includes Claire Kirk, J.D. Smith, James Esposito and Anthony Vatsula.
"Stan Shapiro, a married man, owner of a dry cleaner's, is seduced by one of his customers. How can this happen to him at fifty-five...and with 'that' customer," is how a company spokesperson described the play.
Albertella is a psychologist as well as a playwright. Dirty Laundry will have its East Coast premiere in New York next year.
