LOS ANGELES -- Two plays by James Metropole will open within days of each other at the Hollywood theatre that bears his name. Tiger on the Meadow opens first, on April 30 at 8 PM, followed by The Darling of the Family on May 9.
Tiger, which will play Thursday and Fridays at 8 PM, deals with Robert, a sweet and ordinary middle-class lawyer who runs away from home and gets mixed up with some raffish street characters.
Darling, which plays Sat. at 8 PM; Sun. at 7 PM, is about a mild-mannered housewife who commits a horrible, inexplicable crime.
Both plays were written and directed by Metropole. The producer is Nancy McFarland.
