BROADWAY BLAIR: Our new Labour Prime Minister has lost little time in allying himself to show-biz royalty. Thanks to the fervent support of Harry Evans and Tina Brown, two of our most successful American exports since the Beatles, an amazingly starry team has been lined up for a Los Angeles stage gala this fall to raise money for Tony Blair's political coffers. Among those apparently already signed for An Anthology of British Love Letters are Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Alan Rickman and Natasha Richardson, and an equal roster of local stars is promised. With a team like that, Blair could probably run for the White House, too. -- By Sheridan Morley
