Taper, Too, the Mark Taper Forum's smaller space, has extended its Asian Theatre Workshop presentation of new works, Two at the Too. Originally scheduled to close April 20, Two..., consisting of the solo world premieres of Alec Mapa's I Remember Mapa, and Sandra Tsing Loh's Depth Becomes Her, will now close May 11.

Both premieres are directed by Forum artistic associate Chay Yew. Depth Becomes Her offers a tour of the "seamy underbelly" of Los Angeles, through Loh's experiences with adult education screenwriting classes, temping in the Valley, dinner with the "dating-impaired" and dinner alone with Trader Joe.

I Remember Mapa chronicles comedian Alec Mapa's true life experiences in the entertainment industry, revealing his truly hysterical perspective on events occurring in cabarets, Broadway theatres, and on television sounds stages.

Two at the Too runs Thu-Sun at 8 pm.

Currently playing on the Forum mainstage is the Forum's 30th Anniversary festival New Theatre For Now. For tickets or more information for anything appearing at the Mark Taper Forum, please refer to the regional listing on Playbill On Line. --By Blair Glaser
