Presented March 18-24, the festival will offer a week of free play readings and discussions, all of which center around different New York themes. The week will culminate in a 48-hour festival of round-the-clock performances at the Bank Street Theatre.

Readings include The Indian Wants The Bronx, by Israel Horovitz (March 18 at 8 PM); In Arabia, We'd All Be Kings, by Guirgis (March 19 at 8 PM); Shanley's Danny and the Deep Blue Sea (March 20 at 8 PM); and Baraka's Dutchman (March 21 at 8 PM).

Each reading will be followed by a discussion with the playwright.

From March 22-24, Labyrinth Theater Company will present a marathon of plays by Edward Albee, James Baldwin, Maria Irene Fornes, John Guare, Lorraine Hansberry, Langston Hughes, David Henry Hwang, Jack Kerouac, Sidney Kingsley, Kenneth Lonnergan, Arthur Miller, Eugene O'Neill, Clifford Odets, Dawn Powell, Miguel Pinero, Sam Shepard and more.

Free tickets for the weeknight readings and discussions will be available via an online lottery each day. Audience members will be able to submit their names between 10 AM -3 PM on the Labyrinth website. Free tickets for the marathon will be available on a first-come, first-served basis prior to each reading.
