News Labyrinth Will Produce Stephen Belber's The Muscles in Our Toes in 2014 Stephen Belber's The Muscles in Our Toes will premiere Off-Broadway at the Labyrinth Theater Company in spring 2014.

Anne Kauffman will helm the play that will be presented at the Bank Street Theatre. Belber's plays include The Power Of Duff, Match, Tape, Don't Go Gentle, Dusk Rings a Bell, Geometry of Fire, among others. "The Muscles in Our Toes is a hysterical, laugh out loud addition to our 2013-14 season. Belber creates a world of colorfully confused, opinionated, rambunctious characters tackling the perils of middle age and everything that goes along with it," artistic director Mimi O'Donnell said in a statement.

Here's how it's billed: "In this dark comedy, four friends meet at their high school reunion, and ponder a plan to free their old friend who's been kidnapped by a radical political group. Absurdity, intensity and plain ole weirdness ensue when this inebriated, stoned, adolescently arrested, religiously confused group of friends attempts to tackle the task at hand and at the same time, debate the forces of international terrorism."
