The evening of contemporary standards is titled It Takes Two. Show times are March 14 at 7:30 and 9:30 PM. LaChanze won a Tony Award for her performance as Celie in The Color Purple. She has also appeared on Broadway in Once on This Island, Ragtime, Company and Uptown . . . It's Hot! and Off-Broadway in Inked Baby, Dessa Rose, The Vagina Monologues and The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin. LaChanze was also Tony-nominated for her work in Once on This Island.
