Center Stage
Oct. 7: Special guests are playwright Lee Blessing (a Pulitzer finalist for A Walk in the Woods) and Oscar winner Christine Lahti. Lahti is starring in Blessing's new Off-Broadway mystery play, A Body of Water.

This week's "Center Stage" debuts at 7 PM ET Tuesday, with repeats scheduled for (all times ET) 2 AM Wednesday, Oct. 8; 11 PM Wednesday, Oct. 8; 2 PM Thursday, Oct. 9; 11 AM Saturday, Oct. 11; and 4 PM Sunday, Oct. 12.

Playbill Presents
Oct. 8: John Patrick Shanley (an Oscar winner for Moonstruck and a Pulitzer winner for Doubt) has teamed up with Dreamgirls composer Henry Krieger for the new Off-Broadway musical Romantic Poetry. The two writers tell how they came to collaborate on their project, and the original cast offers samples of the songs. This week's "Playbill Presents" debuts at 7 PM (ET) Wednesday, with repeats scheduled for (all times ET) 2 AM Thursday, Oct. 9; 11 PM Thursday, Oct. 9; 2 PM Friday Oct. 10; 4 PM Saturday, Oct. 11; and 11 AM Sunday, Oct. 12.

Composer Spotlight
Oct. 9: A tour through the career of Broadway songwriters Arthur Schwartz and Howard Dietz, whose hits include "Dancing in the Dark," "That's Entertainment" and "Triplets."

Each week's "Composer Spotlight" show debuts at 7 PM (ET) Thursday, with repeats scheduled for (all times ET) 2 AM Friday, Oct. 10; 11 PM Friday, Oct. 10; 8 PM Sunday, Oct. 12; and 2 PM Monday, Oct. 13.

"Theater Talk" on Playbill Radio
Oct. 11: Charles Strouse, legendary composer of Annie and Bye Bye Birdie, is interviewed at the piano and performs a number of his hits (part two).

Each week's "Theater Talk" show debuts at 7 PM (ET) Saturday, with repeats scheduled for (all times ET) 11 PM Monday, Oct. 13; and 2 PM Tuesday, Oct. 14.

This weekend's programming features Ute Lemper at 11 AM Saturday, Oct. 4 and 4 PM Sunday, Oct. 5; Forbidden Broadway at 4 PM Saturday, Oct. 4 and 11 AM Sunday, Oct. 5; a Jason Robert Brown Tribute at 8 PM Sunday, Oct. 5 and 2 PM Monday, Oct. 6; and "Theater Talk" at 7 PM Saturday, Oct. 4, 11 PM Monday, Oct. 6 and 2 PM Tuesday, Oct. 7.
