Theatre and cabaret star Lainie Kazan will appear at New York's famed Oak Room in the Algonquin Hotel from Mar. 16 to Apr 10. There, she will perform selections from her most recent album, "In the Groove." Kazan's musical theatre credits include My Favorite Year, On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, The Rink, A Little Night Music and Funny Girl, in which she understudied Barbra Streisand. On film, she has appeared in "One from the Heart," Beaches," "The Big Hit" and the current "Permanent Midnight."
