The 2 PM performance of Broadway Jazz will feature Ayler Evan, Amanda Kaiser, Jen Baciagalupi, Alex Mendoza, Margaret Menzies and Olga Rios, who will be joined by a quartet comprising Carnell Johnson, Lance Bryant, Herbert Thames and Daniel Hunter Jr. Performers will also include Las Vegas rock crooner Tim Molyneux as well as Alex Olson, Brian Scott and Gus Langley.

The evening is the brainchild of Andrew Wright and Callie Johnson. Musical director and pianist Alec Ryan Bart will lead a jazz trio with John Kuhlman on bass and Matt Murphy on drums.

Director Wright said in a statement, "It’s been a lot of fun, combining elements of storytelling and jazzing up this music. Material wise, you just can’t get better than Sondheim. It makes all the sense in the world. If you look at his early material like Saturday Night, it really lends itself to a jazz swing. There’s really no better forum to deliver such wonderfully scripted lyrics than the intimacy of a cabaret."

Tickets are $20 and $40. For information regarding the performance, contact [email protected]. For more information about CCFA, go to www.CCFA.org. The performance will be at the Hard Rock Café at 3771 South Las Vegas Blvd. For questions, call (702) 733–7625.
