LOS ANGELES -- Broadway, film and TV veterans Howard Morris, Bill Fiore and Christina Conte are among cast members featured in an evening of short works, Reel People Onstage, opening July 7 at the Zephyr Theatre in West Hollywood.

The Onstage Company presents the evening of three short plays, which includes Heat Lightning by Robert F. Caroll, Give the Bishop My Faint Regards and Real to Reel by Frank D. Gilroy.

Heat Lightning was first presented live on NBC Television in 1949, with a story focusing on murder at a bus terminal on a deserted highway. Cast for the stage show includes Kevin Black, Carolina Barcos and James Nardini.

Give the Bishop My Faint Regards is the story of two Hollywood screenwriters. It features Morris, Fiore and Conte as cast members.

Real to Reel is a comedy about movies and criticism featuring Tony Award nominee and New York Drama Critics Award winner Sarah Marshall, plus Patrick Newall. The evening is directed by Bruce Blair. Set design is by Evan Bartoletti and costume design is by Mary Musinski. Patrick Newall is the producer.

The show runs at the Zephyr Theatre at 8 PM Tuesdays, through August 11.
