Last Chance to witness a romantic triangle between a beauty, a beast and a man. That's the basis of Dallas' Kitchen Dog Theater's current production, Migdalia Cruz's Fur, playing through May 9.

Directed by Tina Parker and not your everyday love story, Fur explores the relationships between Michael, a man obsessed with Citrona, a bearded lady in a circus side show who herself is taken with Nena. To make the triangle complete, Nena doesn't return Citrona's affections, but instead focuses her interests on Michael.

A member of New Dramatists, Cruz, whose other plays include Miriam's Flowers and Dreams of Hope, has had her work produced at Arena Stage, Steppenwolf, and the New York Theater Workshop, among other venues.

The cast features Chris Carlos, Shelley Tharp, and Leah Wysong. Scenic design is by Michael Sullivan, lighting is by Rene Garza, costumes are by Valerie Liberta and sound is by Mark Griffin.
