LOS ANGELES -- Last Chance to catch The Stuff, a "contemporary story of two wanderers searching the desert of love," finishing its world premiere at the Hudson Theatre in Hollywood June 27 after starting previews May 8 and opening there May 16. Written by Amy Keating Rogers, the comedy is directed by Mark Bringelson.

The Stuff is an independent production reuniting the talents of playwright Rogers, lead actress Sheri Galan, co-producers Patricia Gatz and Sharon Hallett, scenic designer Eric Germansky, and director Bringelson -- who have all been associated with Singular Productions, the award-winning theatre company based in Culver City's Ivy Substation.

Rogers' play (her first full-length one) was developed at Padua Hills Playwright's Workshop and was recently tested at Theatre of N.O.T.E. It was also part of the annual Summer Reading Series at Singular Productions.

Performances are Thu.-Sat. at 8 PM at the Hudson Theatre, 6539 Santa Monica Blvd. For tickets, $20, call (818) 789-8499.
