Hazelle Goodman, perhaps best known for her role as Cookie the prostitute in Woody Allen's "Deconstructing Harry," wraps up her acclaimed one woman show, Hazelle: To the Top, Top, Top! at Joe's Pub at the Public Theater Sept. 2.
Drawing on her HBO special, the pub gig (which began Aug. 18 and opened Aug. 23) in Manhattan introduces a comic collage of urban characters in a New York City neighborhood, based on Goodman's experiences and observations. Goodman is joining the cast of the Off-Broadway comedy, Things You Shouldn't Say Past Midnight beginning Sept. 7.
Actress-comedian Goodman was a series regular on NBC's "Homicide" (as drug lord Georgia Rae Mahoney). In 1998, she was the Queen in the Public Theater's Cymbeline at the Delacorte Theatre in Central Park.
Performances continue 8:30 PM Sept. 1 & 2. All tickets are $15.
