Performances began Feb. 25.

L.A. theatregoers hungry for a Big Bag of Meat have until Thursday to chow down. The comedy group Cathead will close up its world premiere of A Big Bag of Meat April 8 at Los Angeles' Zephyr Theatre. Cathead extended Meat from its original closing date April 1. Performances began Feb. 25.

Tom Ballatore ("Once Bitten"), Amit Itelman ("Seinfeld," Leopold and Loeb) Kathleen Macdonald ("ER," "Killer Flick") and Patrick Cannon comprise Cathead. They have appeared together at the HBO Workspace and the HBO USA Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, CO.

Cannon directs. As well as directing for Cathead, he also wrote, directed and starred in Stumpy's Gang: A Comic Mutation, which ran for five months at the Zephyr.

Tickets for A Big Bag of Meat are $6.99 and can be reserved by calling (323) 951-9545. The Zephyr Theatre is located at 7456 Melrose Avenue in Hollywood.
