News LAST CHANCE: Legally Blonde, First Breeze, Tempest, Two Rooms and Outside Inn Broadway loses some of its pink-clad girl power this week, while Off-Broadway bids farewell to two Tony Award winners, a murder mystery and a timely revival.

  • Legally Blonde (Broadway at the Palace Theatre). Based on the 2001 MGM movie of the same name, Legally Blonde currently stars Bailey Hanks as determined valley girl Elle Woods, who heads to Harvard Law to nab the man of her dreams and a law degree while she's at it.   • The First Breeze of Summer (Off-Broadway at the Signature Theatre). Tony Award-winning actress Leslie Uggams and Yaya DaCosta star in the extended Off-Broadway revival of Leslie Lee's work about three generations of a family who collide during a sweltering weekend in June. Adinah Alexander, Angela Christian, Patrick Boll and Michael Laurence appear in the revival of Lee Blessing's timely drama about a man held hostage in the Middle East and his American wife who is attempting to reconnect with him by any means possible.
