In Brian Friel's Molly Sweeney, Molly, blind since infancy, is given sight by a surgeon, Dr. Rice, in an operation pushed upon her by her husband Frank. The three characters reflect on the change this sudden seeing gives Molly and how it alters their relationships.

Friel's other plays include Dancing at Lughnasa, Philadelphia, Here I Come!, Wonderful Tennessee and Faith Healer.

Jim Howard (Warren G. Harding in Camping With Henry And Tom) directs Christine Decker (Defying Gravity) as Molly with Kristian Truelson (All in the Timing) and Chris Pfingsten.

The rest of the season follows with a new works reading series in March and Richard Dresser's Below the Belt May 13-30, 1999. Tickets are $15 and available by calling the box office at (407) 328-2040.
