The Old Settler, John Henry Redwood's tale of sisters searching for love and companionship in wartime Harlem of the 1940s, will pull up stakes at the Old Globe Theater Oct. 24. The play began previews on Sept. 13 and opened Sept. 19. Juanita Jennings, Roz Ryan, Derrick Demetrius Parker and Sandra Daley star in this staging of the Redwood drama, which has proved a hit at various theatres across the U.S. (In fact, an Off-Broadway production starring Leslie Uggams opens Oct. 28 at Primary Stages.)
