Playwright Richard Greenberg’s Three Days of Rain will dry up at San Jose Repertory Theatre Nov. 22 following a run that included previews Oct. 23-29 and an opening Oct. 30.
Greenberg's drama -- which had a successful run at New York's Manhattan Theatre Club last season -- examines, among other things, children's inability to grasp the history of the parents that made them. Act One concerns a brother and sister and their mutual friend, and their frustrated attempts to sort through their parents' legacies. They make various suppositions about the past, all of which prove false in an Act Two flashback, when the parents' lives are depicted.
Timothy Near directs actors Remi Sandri, Lorri Holt and Christopher Rich.
Tickets are $32-$16 and are available by calling (408) 291-2255. San Jose Repertory performs at the Sobrato Auditorium at 101 Paseo de San Antonio between 2nd and 3rd streets in downtown San Jose.
