LOS ANGELES -- Last Chance to catch Escape From Happiness, George Walker's contemporary dark comedy, which finishes its scheduled run at CA's Zephyr Theatre May 10, after opening there Mar. 20.

Happiness centers on an eccentric matriarchal family whose life in a crime riddled neighborhood is thrown into turmoil by the unexpected return of the husband and father who deserted them a decade ago.

Peter Spellos directs a 10-person cast including Meredith Bishop, Clement Blake, Marie Chambers, Johnny De Anda, D.J. Harnber, Bobbi Holtzman, Tony Jensen, Judd Laurance, Dorian Lopinto and John Marzilli.

Walker's other works include the epic Suburban Motel, as well as Crominals In Love, Problem Child and Love and Anger.
