Fresh from a run in The Fourposter at Shadowland Theatre of Ellenville, NY, "Welcome Back Kotter's" Ron Palillo has bounced over to another Fourposter, this one at Sarasota, FL's Golden Apple Dinner Theatre. His NY co-star, Becky Moran, also made the journey southward for the run, which ends Aug. 30.

Jan de Hartog's gentle 1951 comedy tells of the ups and downs of a couple's 35-year marriage. Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt later adapted the material into the musical, I Do!, I Do!.

Palillo says he has wanted to do The Fourposter since he was 8 years old and saw a TV production of it starring original Broadawy cast members Hume Cronyn and Jessica Tandy. "The play is a real nudger," Palillo said in a statement, "as people [in the audience] keep nudging each other when they recognize familiar situations."

Palillo also starred as Mozart in Delaware Theatre Company's Amadeus and was one of Three Guys Naked From The Waist Down at CA's Tamarind Theatre.
