The Revisionist (Off-Broadway at the Rattlestick Playwrights Theater). The world premiere of Jesse Eisenberg's new play The Revisionist co-stars the playwright and Academy Award-winning actress Vanessa Redgrave. According to the Rattlestick, "In The Revisionist David (Eisenberg) arrives in Poland with a crippling case of writer's block and a desire to be left alone. His 75-year-old second cousin Maria (Redgrave) welcomes him with a fervent need to connect with her distant American family. As their tenuous relationship develops, she reveals details about her complicated post-war past that tests their ideas of what it means to be a family." Visit TheRevisionistPlay.com.

All in the Timing (Off-Broadway at 59E59 Theaters). Primary Stages' revival of All in the Timing, a collection of short comic plays by Tony Award-nominated playwright David Ives, features Carson Elrod, Matthew Saldivar, Jenn Harris, Eric Clem and Liv Rooth. All in the Timing, according to Primary Stages, features "Sure Thing and The Universal Language which have become contemporary classics..." The production marks the first major New York revival of the piece that premiered at Primary Stages in 1993 and ran for over 600 performances. Visit PrimaryStages.org.

Forbidden Broadway: Alive and Kicking! (Off-Broadway at 59E59 Theater B). Gerard Alessandrini's Forbidden Broadway: Alive and Kicking! currently features Lindsay Nicole Chambers, Natalie Charlé Ellis, Scott Richard Foster, Marcus Stevens and David Caldwell on piano. The newest edition of the acclaimed revue offers spoofs of Annie, Newsies, Once, The Book of Mormon, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, Evita, Porgy and Bess, Anything Goes and Follies as well of send-ups of the "Les Misérables" movie musical, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Matthew Broderick, Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin.
