Concluding Sept. 1

Let It Be (Broadway at the St. James Theatre). Let It Be, a concert experience of The Beatles' greatest hits, features Graham Alexander, Roberto Angelelli, Jimmy Coburn, Tony Coburn, JT Curtis, Tyson Kelly, Chris McBurney and Luke Roberts, with John Korba and Daniel A. Weiss. "After summer sales proved to be more challenging than expected, the producers have opted to utilize the cast, physical production elements, and other resources to fulfill worldwide demand, instead of awaiting the more traditionally robust sales that come with the holiday season," according to a recent press statement. "Those plans include a North American tour for the 2014/15 Season; an extensive UK tour; an international tour to visit Moscow, Japan, and Monaco; and other worldwide opportunities. A three-city tour of Germany is also underway this month, visiting Leipzig, Cologne, and Frankfurt." Visit LetItBeBroadway.com.

My Name Is Asher Lev (Off-Broadway at the Westside Theatre). My Name Is Asher Lev features Ari Brand, who plays Asher Lev, with Mark Nelson and Jenny Bacon. Set in post-war Brooklyn, My Name Is Asher Lev, according to press notes, "tells the coming-of-age story of a boy prodigy who must be an artist at any cost – against the will of family, community and tradition. It is the powerful telling of a young artist with a universal theme to follow our passion – against everything." Visit AsherLevThePlay.com.

Potted Potter: The Unauthorized Harry Experience – A Parody by Dan and Jeff (Off-Broadway at the Little Shubert Theatre). Potted Potter is written and performed by Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner. The play, according to press notes, "takes on the ultimate challenge of condensing, or 'potting' all seven Harry Potter books into 70 madcap minutes, aided only by multiple costume changes, brilliant songs, ridiculous props and a generous helping of Hogwarts magic. The show also invites audiences to engage with a real life game of Quidditch, according to Clarkson and Turner’s unique set of rules." Visit PottedPotter.com.

Concluding Sept. 2 Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 (Off-Broadway at Kazino). Dave Malloy's critically praised musical Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 features Brittain Ashford as Sonya, Shaina Taub as Princess Mary, Blake DeLong as Bolkonsky/Andrey, Amber Gray as Helene, Nick Choksi as Dolokhov, David Abeles as Pierre, Grace McLean as Marya D, Paul Pinto as Balaga, Phillipa Soo as Natasha and Lucas Steele as Anatole. Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812, according to producers, "invites you to join Tolstoy's brash young lovers for an evening you'll never forget, as vodka flows and passions ignite in Dave Malloy's electropop opera, ripped from a slice of 'War and Peace.'"
